The Boudingait not only offers an extensive menu of homemade Pub Grub, we also offer a Specials Menu which changes regularly to tantalise your tastebuds.

All of our dishes are freshly prepared using locally sourced quality ingredients where possible and If you see something on our menu that you would like to have a little differently .... please let us know and we will endeavour to please....

- Tables of more than 10 will be on 2+ tables due to floor space.
- For tables over 6, we will require a £10 per head deposit and pre-order in advance.
- Deposits are fully refunded if 24 hours notice is received and will be deducted from the final bill on departure.
- A 10% service charge will be applied to all bills. all gratuities are shared between those that have served you, with appreciation.

ONLINE/EMAIL RESERVATIONS

For larger tables please contact boudingait@outlook.com, and our Front of House team will be happy to help with your enquiry. After making your reservation you'll receive a confirmation email. Should you not see this in your inbox after a few hours, please call us on 01334208310, as we are not always able to check emails on a regular basis.

 

CHILDREN

We welcome children of all ages and believe we provide a great atmosphere for families to enjoy the restaurant experience. In the evening if guests wish to make a reservation with children under the age of 4 please do so for no later than 6pm (reservation durations vary depending on the number of guests so please note the reservation cannot go beyond 7:30pm). In the case of Private Function reservations there is no age restriction. When making a reservation please count children in the total number of guests and let us know if you need a highchair or space for a pram/pushchair.
Lastly, please note that children under 18 years of age need to be accompanied by an adult to dine.

 

DRESS CODE

Our dress code is smart casual. We do not require jacket and tie, however, sportswear (gym wear), beachwear, fancy dress and/or items with offensive language on them are not permitted. We reserve the right to refuse admission if the dress code is not adhered to.

 

CANCELLATIONS & DEPOSITS

For Parties of more than 6, a £10 deposit per head is required to secure your booking and is only refundable where 48 hours’ notice has been given or we have received Government instructions to close. In some instances, for specific days, times or last-minute reservations we may require a deposit to be paid in advance to secure it.

If you no longer wish to keep your reservation, please let us know with as much notice as possible. The notice period is between 48 and 72 hours before the reservation Date/Time.  This also applies in cases where guests do not attend their reservation.

 

PAYMENTS

We take both cash and card payments.

 

ALLERGENS

The team at The Boudingait take food safety very seriously and particularly so when it concerns allergens in food. It is very important for us that our industry supply this important information on the food we serve to our guests. On arrival we can provide our guests with a list of the key 14 allergens present across our menus. Please note we cannot guarantee there won’t be any cross-contamination in our food or drinks. If you suffer from an allergy or intolerance, please let your server know before you order.

 

SMOKING

In line with legislation passed in 2007 The Boudingait is a no-smoking restaurant. We do not allow e-cigarettes inside either.

 

PETS & GUIDE DOGS

Well behaved dogs are always welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

Please note in the interest of respect of other guests and their privacy, filming cannot include others. Professional photography or videography cannot be carried out without first contacting us for authorisation.

 

LOST PROPERTY

Please contact us on 01334 208310 if you believe you have left an item by mistake during your visit. Our Team will always contact guests when items are named/include contact details. Items left behind will be kept for three months, after which any unclaimed items will be donated to charity.

 

FESTIVE RESERVATION

For party reservations we require a deposit of £15 p/p within 7 days from the date of booking to confirm the table. After which point your table may be released.

For Christmas Day reservations,  we require payment in full within 147 days from the date of booking to confirm the table. After which point your table may be released. Please email Lorna at boudingait@outlook.com for all Christmas Day enquiries.

 

Deposit Forfeit:
Should your party numbers change, we request that you inform us in line with our cancellation policy of at least 72 hours prior to your reservation. If guest numbers decrease within this window, or on arrival, the deposit amount per person will be forfeited and not redeemable against your bill. The responsibility of any recuperation of monies that a guest has paid on behalf of others not present and therefore retained is that of the payer.

 

Cancellations/No-Shows:
You may amend or cancel your reservation up until the cut off time in accordance with your party size. Should you wish to cancel your reservation after this point or otherwise, a charge of £15 p/p will apply. If you have paid a deposit for your reservation, the sum prepaid will be forfeited.

 

Dining Times:
For all reservations, we kindly request that all guests arrive promptly and together. In the event of separate arrivals, we will only accept food orders up to 30 minutes after the reservation time. Please note that we may not be able to extend the duration of the reservation beyond 1 hour and 30 minutes after the allocated time due to availability constraints. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

 

If you have pre-ordered, we kindly request that all guests are seated at the allocated reservation time, as we will aim to begin food service 15 minutes after your seating time. Should guests arrive past this time, we reserve the right to continue with service regardless of full party arrival, so that those present are able to enjoy the full experience in a timely manner. Late arrivals may be permitted to join, however, they will be invited to commence dining in line with the rest of the party and our order of service.

 

Menu Selection:
For reservations of 6+ guests, (including children), all adults within the party are required to dine from our Festive or standard menus (depending on the party size). Any children under 12 may still dine from our children's menu.

Our Reservation Terms may change as we update and amend where necessary.
